Skip the PDF attachment. Send lumicv.com/r/your-name — recruiters click, read in the browser, download the PDF if they want. Always in sync with the version you last edited.
What you send
Stable share link (never breaks)
Your resume stays private until you say otherwise. Once you flip the toggle, every edit is live the instant you save.
Open any resume in LumiCV, click Share. You choose which resume is public — the rest stay private.
Claim a username for the clean URL. Decide between link-only sharing or search-indexable. Hide any contact link you do not want on the public version.
Copy the URL or share to LinkedIn in one tap. View counts update in your dashboard, and you get a daily digest email when somebody opens your resume.
A link works on every device, never gets stuck in spam filters, and stays in sync with your latest edit — without you re-sending anything.
lumicv.com/r/your-name is sharper than a 4MB PDF attachment. Drop it on LinkedIn, in your email signature, in your bio link.
Fix a typo in the editor and the public version updates the moment you save. No "please use this version instead" follow-up emails.
Every resume is private by default. Choose link-only (URL works, search engines blocked) or indexable. Hide individual contact fields. Toggle off any time.
View counts and a daily digest tell you when a recruiter opened your resume. IPs are hashed — we count opens, never identify who.
Pick from Standard, Modern, Compact, or Bold for the web version — separate from your PDF template. Match your industry without redoing your CV.
Old-school recruiter wants the file? Your public page has a Download PDF button. Same template, same content. Best of both worlds.
The public-page theme is independent of your PDF template — change it any time without touching your CV content.
Clean, classic, safe across every industry.
Violet accents, sharper typography. Good for product, tech, design.
Tighter spacing, more content above the fold. Senior IC roles.
Dark, high-contrast, statement maker. Creative & founder profiles.
No "we promise" copy. Real switches in the UI, backed by an audit trail and a server-side trust gate.

Your URL

Real situations where sending a link works better than attaching a file.
A clickable URL gets a recruiter to your CV in one tap. PDF attachments in DMs feel intrusive.
Links don't hit spam filters. Attachments do. Higher open rate, higher reply rate.
Drop the URL in your signature so every email naturally surfaces your latest CV.
Twitter, Instagram, GitHub, personal site. One URL replaces a hosted PDF you had to manually re-upload.
A web page reads cleanly on phones. A PDF needs pinch-zoom. Recruiters on the go convert better.
Opt in to indexing and rank for "{your name} {your role}" — recruiters searching by name find your full CV, not a stale LinkedIn snippet.
It's a shareable web link to your resume that recruiters can open in any browser — no PDF download, no LinkedIn login, no attachment. Your resume lives at lumicv.com/r/{your-username} and stays in sync with whatever you edit in LumiCV.
Yes. Every resume is private by default. You explicitly toggle public sharing per resume — and you can choose between link-only (anyone with the URL can view, but search engines cannot index it) and search-indexable (Google can rank it as a personal landing page).
Yes. Set a username from your profile and your default public resume serves at lumicv.com/r/{your-username}. You also get a stable share slug at lumicv.com/r/s/{slug} that never breaks even if you change your username later — useful when you have already sent the link to someone.
Only when it meets the trust gate: at least 70% complete, account older than 7 days, email verified — and you have not opted out of indexing. Until then the link works but search engines are told noindex. You stay in control: a single toggle in the share modal switches your resume between link-only and search-indexable at any time.
You decide. Inside LumiCV you can hide individual links (email, phone, LinkedIn) from the public version while keeping them on your PDF. View counts are tracked with hashed IPs only — we never store who looked at your resume, just how many.
Yes. Public resume URLs are on the free plan with no watermark and no cap. You can share as many resumes as you want and pick from four public themes (Standard, Modern, Compact, Bold). AI tailoring and unlimited cover letters require Pro, but the public URL itself is free forever.
Yes — there is a "Download as PDF" button on every public resume page so a recruiter who wants the file can grab it in one click. The download uses the same template you picked in the editor, so the PDF and the web version match exactly.
The URL returns a 404 immediately — and the 404 looks identical to one where the username does not exist, so nobody can use the endpoint to confirm whether you ever had an account. We also delete view logs when you delete the resume.
One link, four themes, full privacy controls — free on the free plan. Set up your public URL in under a minute.
